LiveEvent Issue: When participants connect to live events from the internal network, they cannot receive video streams

Issue description

. When participants connect to live events from the internal network, they cannot receive video streams

Environment

Teams Version 1.3.00.21759 (64 bits). Last Update 19/08/20.

Root Cause

During our tests we observed that the client teams were trying to connect directly by the default route and therefore were trying to go through the company’s FW. TCP port 443 being closed the video did not reach the user. Simply opening this stream on the FW to one of the networks requested by the client allows users to receive the stream. This behavior is not normal because the TCP 443 stream should logically use the Proxy configuration of the client workstation that allows it to receive the traffic.

If we look at the network prerequisites provided by TechNet we can see that

In the proxy bypass *.lync.com, *.teams.microsoft.com, teams.microsoft.com are not present

We run the Connectivity.Office.com test and get this result
